Recent alerts, and what the waves did.

Every alert below went to real surfers 5 or more days before the window opened. Under each one is what our forecast said once the peak day was close, and what Surfline said about that same day once it was close. Dates, wave size and fare are the alert's own words.

How this list is made

An alert qualifies when it was sent at least 5 days before the window, the window has started, and our forecast rated at least one of its days 7/10 or better once the day was 0 to 2 days out. Where we have Surfline's forecast for the peak day from within 3 days of it, we show their wave height and rating too, made at the time stated on the row, never at the time of our alert. An alert Surfline called Poor is left off.

This is a list of recent alerts that came true. It is not a hit rate, and it is not a forecast: not every alert we send works out, and the ones that did not are not shown here. How the rating works.
